The Harris Family Foundation’s “Bridge the Gap” initiative focuses on providing resources for underserved youth and college students. Through mentorship, emergency assistance, school supply drives, and scholarship opportunities, this program helps close the gap between potential and access. We believe every student deserves the tools and support needed to succeed regardless of their background.

This initiative provides scholarships and educational support for high school seniors, college students, and nontraditional learners facing financial hardship. In addition to financial assistance, recipients gain access to mentorship, leadership development, and career readiness opportunities that empower them beyond the classroom.

The Strong Families Initiative focuses on uplifting families through community outreach, wellness programs, financial literacy workshops, and resource assistance. This initiative aims to strengthen the foundation of the household by connecting families with tools that improve economic mobility, mental wellness, and long-term stability.

The Future Leaders Academy is a signature youth development initiative of the Harris Family Foundation focused on helping middle school, high school, and college students unlock their full potential. Rooted in our mission of uplifting underserved communities through access, empowerment, and education, this program provides students with the tools, guidance, and support needed to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.

 

Through mentorship, leadership workshops, career exploration, college readiness support, public speaking development, and community engagement opportunities, students gain the confidence and life skills necessary to become leaders in their schools, careers, and communities. We believe every young person deserves the opportunity to grow, lead, and achieve regardless of the obstacles they may face.
